COMMON LOON STUDIO
Common Loon is a creative tools brand that I founded and developed from concept to market. I was responsible for the entire process — from product design and manufacturing to branding, marketing, sales, and customer relationships.
The project began in 2015 while I was living in Berlin, inspired by the city’s open-minded and creative atmosphere. After a year of product development and prototyping, my partner and I launched a Kickstarter campaign that was highly successful and brought the project to life.
Common Loon creates stencil rulers designed to encourage people to connect with their creative and playful side.
The business operated for eight years, during which we distributed our products to children and adults who love to doodle and create.
Over time, the product resonated with a wide audience and helped build a small creative community around it.
Even today, we still receive messages from people sharing their drawings and experiences with the product.
